Ultimate Ultron is a version of Ultron from the Ultimate Marvel universe. This iteration first appeared in Ultimate Nightmare #1 (2004).
Created by Dr. Gregory Stark (Tony Stark's brother) as a defense system for Stark Industries, this Ultron was envisioned as a transparent, crystal-like android. Its design differed significantly from the traditional metallic Ultron of the main Marvel universe.
